Thailand Electoral Proposal

While watching the International News report this morning on television, which was referring to the on again off again and on again desire of the Israeli jailed Palestinian faction leader, Mr. Marwan Barghouti, to run for the Palestinian Presidency, I was struck by what I thought may be an excellent and innovative program for Thailand. Please keep in mind that Mr. Barghouti is currently in jail and serving 5 consecutive life terms.

What about the possibility of The Thai Parliament and the Thai Electoral Commission, passing legislation that required that one of main requirements for running for office would be that the candidate was currently serving time in jail at least as long as the term of office for which he is seeking.

Think about the pluses if all such candidates were housed in a maximum security jail doing time:

1] Once elected they would already be in jail, should of course the unthinkable happen and they break the law

2] There would never be a problem getting a quorom

3] If they were already in jail they couldn't be accused of vote buying

4] There would be no need for bickering about the location for a new parliament building

5] Security would be at the utmost for any and all visiting dignitaries

6] Heaven forbid they should ever be arrested, they would not be able to flee the scene

7] They could learn a real trade to be used upon release

Perhaps this could be passed as the Barghouti Manifesto.

I'm sure there are many, many more good ideas and reasons out there that could be added to the above list , if anyone would care to add their anonymous input.

Just food for thought :o:D:D:D

Maybe Mr. Marwan Barghouti deserves to be in the klick but then so does Ariel "The butcher of Lebanon" Sharon. Only the Palestinians can't arrest them 'coz all their cops have been shot.

Yitzak Shamir (former PM) was in the Zionist terrorist cell that blew up the King Davis Hotel in 1946 killing HUNDREDS. :D

That's actually when the poms coined the phrase 'terrorism'. Arrest him for genocide. This act got the Jews a state and was a profound lesson on how to get statehood to the Palestinians. Perhaps we should view more than the last CNN week when we debate international guily and have a big f%$^king laugh about someone doing extreme things in the name of liberation that would get him a medal of honoe in the US or it's Zionist puppet. :o
