I spotted today in Friendship supermarket 330ml bottles of Stella artois beer priced at 95 baht. Certainly expensive, does anyone know where Stella artois can be bought cheaper>?

Have you tried at the wholesalers? The nearest one to Friendship is just before CAT inside the dog leg on the left-hand side that takes you back onto third road heading North. There is one in there. Don't know if it stocks Stella though.

I doubt you'll find it at wholesalers.

The sole importer/distributor is the Belgian Beer Paradise Co.,Ltd. which distributes to bars/pubs directly and also to the supermarkets.

Price difference wholesale is not that much as it is imported and beers carry high import tax and excise taxes...

Funny you should mention that, because the only person I saw buying four bottles was a completely bald man, heavily tattoed on his arms, legs and neck with a girlfriend with him who was bandaged and weeping quietly.
