Can we, once our run made, go to the immigration office in Koh Samui to make a validation of the Work Permit by ourselves or it is imperatively necessary to pass through with our lawyer?

My Lawyer is crazy! Pensit & Laws in Koh Samui (Lamai) ask me 2 900 Baht for validation. 3 months ago it was 1 600 Baht. :o

Thanks to all for your answers

never heard about validation but a work permit costs 3100 bath for one year, if you don't comply with the rules or having a fake bisuness, then a lawyer will be able to get you one in two weeks for 12k bath.

Validation is only an issue when you are on multiple Non-b and go to the border every three months.

Check your WP.

In mine it states the fee for every stamp. (750 for validation).

must be a different understanding of the word, now i get what you meant, this is extension.

it's indeed 750 bath, a normal fee by an accountant is 500 bath and this is extremely well paid considering the work to do :

prepare the papers and go on wednesday morning to the office just beside the tax office and sit there waiting for the labour officers to process your extension.
