Hi,

My daughter (7 months old) is a bit sick, and when we give her liquid paracetamol most of the time she vomits it immediatly.

So I went pharmacy to buy paracetamol suppositories, they did not have any and it seems they never heard of it.

Was I unlucky, or are those unavailable in Thailand (maybe due to the hot weather or something)?

2 brand names of para that come in suppository form:

Panadol

Medamol

Try asking by those names. Some persistance may be required to track it down, try the larger pharmacies. Could also try the pharmacy inside Villa market around Soi 33, they often have things popular with Westerneres but seldom used by Thais.

If all esle fails Fascino's should have it but they are across the river next to Sitriraj so may not be convenient.

The problem has been solved by having my daughter hospitalized for a week, but the nurses were not a lot better than us for giving her medicine without her vomiting.

Anyway, thanks Sheryl, I'll still look for those brands for the next time.
