Budhism A First Time Look

Really don't know the first thing about it, just has felt a good set of guidlines to follow in life no matter if you believe or not.

During the Funeral rites fro the Princes last night five aspects were explained. Not terribly hard to do. Really sounded llike five on the Ten Commandments. Now ther eoudl have been a time it woudl have been pretty difficult for me qaulify for either set of rules.

Little older and if not wiser at least tired. You know I'm a better budhist then a lot of Thais I know, Using just those five things. What a different world this would be if those five concepts were really followed.

My Dad a Baptist minister, never really heard hm say anything bad about Jewish people. In my career I ended up workign at a Jewsih school for a few years. Got a book from the Rabbi called what it means to be a Jew, you know what it ain't easy being Jewish. But it called on following pretty much the same five thinsg just worded differently

Don't know the first thing about the Mulim religion. But, Im willing to bet it has these same five guidlines to life are in it.

What a world it would be if people of faith would actually follow the guidlines.

You know I dont; go to church, the wat or teh Moque. But I ahve always tried o live my life as each directs. Haven't always been succesful at it. Saying harsh words would be a tough one for me. But certainly a worhwhile endeavor.
