Malaysian Restaurants In Bangkok

Featured Replies

Seen a few notes about Malaysian Restaurants in Bangkok and thought it would be good to get a list of them all.

Kopitiam Thailand - Sukhumvit Soi 26 nearby to Phrompong Station.

Malaysian KL style food featuring a range of dishes including Nasi Lemak, Char Kway Teoh, Laksa, Har Mee and Roti and Bakuteh. Also have Chinese and Thai food choices.

Personally I like the food and know they go to great efforts to be as authentic as possible with reasonable pricing. It is KL style however, and some Singaporeans may feel the food differs to their style. Have a website you can google.

Specialty is Black Pepper and Singapore Chilli Crab but need to order in advance.

Cili Padi - Soi One Narathiwat Road

Good choice for Halal Food if you are in the area and offer again close to authentic food with the usual dishes including Curry Ayam and laksa.

Boon Tong Kiat - Sukhumvit Soi Thonglor - Soi 55.

Famous for the Singapore Chicken Rice and also have laksa and a couple of other dishes. Not as comfortable to sit as the other two so mainly a takeway place.

Auntie Malaysia - Sukhumvit Soi 8

personally have not been here yet so would appreciate comments.

Food Loft - Central Chidlom

Chicken Rice and a few other dishes on offer- quality seems up to if the main chef is present.

Have heard there is also a Singapore style place in Nonthburi if anyone knows about this or others would be great to put into the list.

Susho

Does anyone know of a Malaysian restaurant in Chiang Mai?

Colin

Have heard there is also a Singapore style place in Nonthburi if anyone knows about this or others would be great to put into the list.

I have heard of a Singapore style restaurant in Nonthaburi called Chuan Kitchen. I have never been, hopefully someone else has been there and can review.

Thanks Shusho!!!

I love M'sian food.

Never noticed Auntie M'sia on Soi 8, where abouts on Soi 8 is it??

Been too long since I had Roti.

IMHO M'sian style taste better the S'pore style.
