I like the smaller types ones in dead end soi's to cut on that horrible trafic noise.

I don't know about gay friendly but I've stayed at The House by the Pond and was very happy there.

It might help if you list which city and main road you are talking about. There are probably over 1000 "soi 22's" in Bangkok alone.

Up the end of soi 16- towards Rama 4- Monterey Place. 1 bed with full kitchen, bathroom, balcony is only 17 000, 2 beds from 23 000.

I live in a corner unit with views of queen sirikit and klong Toey. I was working near Bangkok Post so I could walk to work.

MRT is a stones throw away
