Renewal Locations For 60 To 90 Day Visas

I'm staying just outside Krabi on a 60 day tourist visa and would like to extend it by 30 days.

Being so far from Bangkok, and not particularly keen to go there at the moment, is there a more local immigration office that this can be done at? I notice there is an immigration office in Krabi, but do only certain offices issue the 30 day extensions?

I'd rather not border-hop if can help it, although I know this is an option.

You can get an extension at any immigration office.

The one in Krabi will do it. For a list of offices in south Thailand go to the following link.
