Well, when I was very young the song, 'Heartbreak Hotel', by Elvis Presley guided me to rock and roll and rebellion against my parents, school and all of that.

Currently, the song, 'Tam-arai nia' by Me' is a strong influence as it reflects some of the communication problems I have with a good friend from Udonthani.

Similarily, the song 'Mai Daai Taa Faad', also by Me' is also influential as we both like it.

The day Kennedy was shot, 23 November 1963(?), I had just got a shipment of Jerry Lee Lewis records from Sun in Memphis and was playing 'Breathless' when I got the news of his death.

In my early twenties the group McKenna-Mendelson Mainline was very popular in Toronto, and many young people used to go to the Rock Pile to hear them play. One of their most important hits was, 'The Attack'.

Consequently, five important songs in my life have been the following:

Elvis Presley: 'Heartbreak Hotel'

Jerry Lee Lewis: 'Breathless'

McKenna-Mendelson Mainline: 'The Attack'

Me': 'Tam a-rai nia' (What is going on?)

Me': 'Mai Daai Taa Faad' (There is nothing wrong with my eyes)
