rainman Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 Posted by Bangkok Pundit | 12/02/2008 05:00:00 PM Ad Carabao is a well-known singer and in 2006 was a PAD supporter making a number of critical statements of Thaksin - see here - but now it seems he is directing his anger at PAD. The Manager has an article complaining that a concert on Saturday he attacked the PAD throughout stating that the seizing of Suvarnbumi caused two of his friends who work for Air Asia to lose their jobs [just lose out on work?]. He called on them to negotiate peacefully. However, when he was speaking about Thaksin he mentioned his support for the poor and helping farmers when in the previous government no one did anything. BP: Will PAD supporters start criticizing him? btw, I would guess those friends of Ad were of the young, attractive female variety. Translated by: Bangkok Pundit Original Source: The Manager
JetsetBkk Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 ... he attacked the PAD throughout stating that the seizing of Suvarnbumi caused two of his friends who work for Air Asia to lose their jobs [just lose out on work?]... So he was a supporter of PAD until it actually affected his friends financially. Lovely man.
rainman Posted December 2, 2008 Author Posted December 2, 2008 I think he realized it was wrong when people start losing their jobs and money.
Koo82 Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 The experts here say that PAD only had peaceful protests.

WeeGB Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 Sounds to me as though he's trying to keep BOTH sides sweet - maybe he's worried about plunging record sales in Thailands forthcoming deep recession.
wayfarer108 Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 Sounds to me as though he's trying to keep BOTH sides sweet - maybe he's worried about plunging record sales in Thailands forthcoming deep recession. Precisely.
