Need Last Minute High Season Hotel Room

Featured Replies

I know this is a late and somewhat annoying request, but...

I have just managed to piece together a last minute Thailand trip, and was wondering if anyone has a lead/recommendation for a Pattaya place to stay for any number of days between Christmas and New Years' Day.

Many thanks... prefer South Pattaya/Jomtien!

near everywhere is still available.

agreed, usually that period is real hard to find a decent place but i think this year you will have a lot more choice!!!

Many places will have rooms free, you don't mention your price range, but consider just turning up at somewhere you have in mind, see what they will offer for the whle period of your stay - if you don't like it or feel they could reduce it - book of one night then spend some time touting the other hotels in the area. Use that info to suggest that your first choice could revise their prices in your favor.

Larger places will be looking to hit you for either Christmas or New Year's dinner 'event' fee.

Talking to people during the week, upmarket hotels have many free rooms, budget places are seeing more custom, but still have many rooms free.

post Airport Fiasco - point to any hotel, and you will be welcomed with opened arms from what ever is left of the staffing. they will be hit very heavy this season.
