Ideas For Visiting Student

Featured Replies

My daughter is an A level photography student in the UK and wants to visit me in Thailand next year.

It will be a great photo opportunity for her and I would welcome advice on some of the "must do" or "must see" things/locations.

Any ideas would be welcome.

Hi "Chaimai",

Good to have you on this forum.

Depends on what field of photography is she interested in.

You could check out Link To Your Album thread at the top of the page, our members web-sites and then please come back and give us more info so that we may be able to help you. :o

Yours truly,

Kan Win :D

She should feel free to come down to Hua Hin and take aerial photos from my Zenair CH701 that I fly from a grass strip near Chaam. I fly often above the rice fields, the beach and back in the mountains of Kaeng Krachan Natl Park. PM me for details if she is interested. And don't worry, I'm happily married with a couple of kids.

Is that offer open to other HH residents :o

She should travel around. There are marvelous mountain regions some 5 or 6 hours from Bangkok.

She will see many weird things and take home memories and photos.

Mountains in the north.

Temples everywhere

Vibrant colours of young rice paddy and flame trees in the spring

Get out off the beaten track and see people doing things the way they were done 50 years ago in the UK.

There is so much opportunity. :o
