Doubtful the US would ever end up with just one party--especially these days with Democrats and Republicans so hardened. Pew Research breaks it down this way: 33% Democrat. 32% Republican. 35% who lean Democrat, lean Republican, don't lean to either party, or don't say. So, in reality, the US really has three fairly equal large parties, plus some minor ones. Should either the Democrat or Republican party falter, a new party would likely form, which would likely attract some remnants of the old party, plus a share of the independents and the remaining major party, who might be attracted to the new party's platform. I think the Republican Party's failure to win even 50% of the vote in the last two elections reflects more on the party's poor presidential candidate than on anything else. Trump has been fielded twice. He lost the popular vote by 2.8 million in 2016. Actual voters did not want him. After 4 years of the worst presidency in history, he lost by 7 million votes in 2020--a disaster for a sitting president. Again, actual voters did not want him--even more than in 2016. 2024 will likely result in another large popular vote loss, as Americans for the third time tell the Republican Party that they don't like its choice for president. Apparently lots of slow learners in the Republican Party. -

I'm what's called an empath. Look it up. I help others, all the time, all my life. Narcs don't. That's where they are self centered. I admit when I'm wrong. You haven't, actually either thinking you're right, arguing with someone who's done this all his life, or refusing to admit you've been wrong because of a lack of sense, or maybe just lack of knowledge and naive. I don't need admiration, just respect, as I show others. I don't control anyone, ever. I do point out when someone is wrong in an argument. That makes it a learning experience for those that aren't narcissists, because they never admit they're wrong, as you have acted here. I don't think I'm better than anyone as a human. I know quite a lot about some topics, and obviously more than you , so I pointed that out. You still think you're right, this after I posted more links that you probably didn't bother to read through, or just skim through. Many of these traits are what you're been doing throughout this topic. If the shoe fits. -

Anyone have or tried the mini computers ?
New processors from both Intel and AMD (Ryzen) have made serious gaming possible on mini-pcs. I know little about gaming but I suggest your son look up the r/MiniPC forum on Reddit..lots of information and helpful users. I personally have several mini-PCs that I use for both video streaming and internet browsing, linked via HDMI to my large screen TV. I use a Logitec wireless keyboard & mouse for imput. Very easy. Currently, among the less expensive Mini-PCs, the N100 processor stands out for it's capabilities, especially 4K video output. BeeLink has been in the Mini-PC business for a long time, have decent customer support and make a good product. Lots of YT videos reviewing their products. -
