chiangmaibruce
Hi all. Just returned home from Hua Hin stopping off at the floating markets of Samut Songkram, where they grow a lot of coconuts. It got me wondering ... there are many coconut products available here in Thailand but you don't hear much about the state of the industry. There seems to be only 2-3 threads here in TV, mainly relating to hobby level growing. Does any knowledgeable TV member know about the current viability of the coconut industry in Thailand particularly in relation to oil production and biofuel uses. Is this something to think about or basically very marginal? Any good info sources available? Thanks
