To my best knowledge no. You wil have to get a non-B visa from abroad to be able to work and study.

To work legaly you always need a WP, unless it is an internship.

The answer is maybe! If the Ministry of Labor, Department of Employment (Labor Department) will issue you a work permit you can work.

Several years ago you could.

Now it’s no longer possible with one exception, only if your school writes a letter stating that you need to be an intern to complete a course for school credit.

It would depend on the Labour Office, but all reports nowaday's are negative. Do you have a WP on an ED visa? If so from which labour office? Would be nice to know.

Hi. I've got an American friend who came to Thailand an an ED- visa. The truth is you can't legally work on a Ed- via, cause that's for education. A Non-B is needed, and all the paperwork......sorry but that's the truth. Good luck. You wont get a work permit on an ED to make all legally.

Yeah, *could* flip to work permit & Non-Imm B and just keep going to the school as there's no stipulation of visa type as there is with work. Labor & Education ministries have zero built-in capacity to handle your case files simultaneously. Two very different sets of protocols/regulatory mechanisms.
