Visa (i Open A Business *on Paper, And What's Next)

Featured Replies

How do I proceed to get a non-immg B visa for 1 year? Do I show the documents (registration of the business/ company) at the thai embassy at laos/ cambodia.. fill in a form, and am able to get it? Do I need to write another letter to 'sponsor' myself? My name is on the document that I'd register the company...

can some1 pls guide?

As there is no ThaiVisa member with the user name “some1” anybody who knows the answer should feel free to post it here.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place

Some1 asked me to try and help you.

1. You will not get anything from a nearby consulate without a WP3 (receipt for work permit application) from the labor department. When you have that and other required documents you will get a single entry non-b.

See this webpage for info: http://www.mfa.go.th/web/2482.php?id=2492

2. When you have the work permit (valid for one year) and all the documentation required you can get a multiple entry non-b from KL.

Or a 1 year extension at immigration if you meet all the requirements of 2.1 of this police order and it's guidlines.

Extensions are basicly out of the question, because you won't have the tax documents you will need for that for the at least 2 years if it is a newly registered company.
