I've tried all of the camping/army surplus type shops on the NE corner of the moat and a fishing rod store. Someone suggested Tesco and the sports shop on the third floor of Kad Suan Kaew and I'll try them although neither sounds very likely.

Are you looking for a rigid pole for an upright support or a flexible pole to be installed on a curve of a tent?

I'm looking for the flexible sort so I can construct a small tent.
