Hi,

just wondering if it is needed to show the embassy that you have had the TB vaccine/don't have TB to obtain a tourist visa? (staying in uk for 1 month)

Thanks

"If you are planning to come to the UK for more than six months, you will need to be tested to show that you are free from TB before we will accept your visa application."

So i take it that if you are coming to UK for only a month, you won't need to show any documents or anything about TB?

Thanks for the link

If it's a visit visa you don't need TB proof. TB doc is only needed for long term visas, such as settlement visas.

No, not for a 1 month visit, nothing needed.

Wife came in on a 6 month tourist visa first, nothing needed.

Hope this thread isn't too dead to Revive.

I understand I will need a clear TB test to bring my wife over on an 6 month EEA family Permit.

However I thought I read somewhere, on this site, that the tests were free to people applying for EEA family permits.

Am I imagining it? Does anybody know how you go about claiming one?

TIA

You dont need a TB exray if you are only going for a holiday Visa , you get 6 months. As for getting an Exray it will take you a day and about 4000baht , its no big deal

I am assuming that usb means a 6 month EEA family permit leading to an application for a residence card in the UK. In which case she will need a TB cert.
