February 6, 200917 yr Hi, just wondering if it is needed to show the embassy that you have had the TB vaccine/don't have TB to obtain a tourist visa? (staying in uk for 1 month) Thanks
February 6, 200917 yr Author TB Info "If you are planning to come to the UK for more than six months, you will need to be tested to show that you are free from TB before we will accept your visa application." So i take it that if you are coming to UK for only a month, you won't need to show any documents or anything about TB? Thanks for the link

TB doc is only needed for long term visas, such as settlement visas.

August 4, 200916 yr Hope this thread isn't too dead to Revive. I understand I will need a clear TB test to bring my wife over on an 6 month EEA family Permit. However I thought I read somewhere, on this site, that the tests were free to people applying for EEA family permits. Am I imagining it? Does anybody know how you go about claiming one? TIA Usb
August 4, 200916 yr I think you are imagining it. The EEA family permit will be free, but she will have to pay for the TB certificate. See here.
August 4, 200916 yr You dont need a TB exray if you are only going for a holiday Visa , you get 6 months. As for getting an Exray it will take you a day and about 4000baht , its no big deal
August 4, 200916 yr I am assuming that usb means a 6 month EEA family permit leading to an application for a residence card in the UK. In which case she will need a TB cert.
