Hello, l''m about to apply for a settlement visa for my wife to come to the UK and l've just set up a buisness this month in England, could anyone tell me how many months accounts the embassy would require, or what about money in the bank, is there a figure that is acceptable to support my wife until the buisness progresses ?

This is the second or third time in recent years that we have thought about coming back to the UK, but this is the first time l have applied and l find there is lots of conflicting advice with regards visas.

l have been back some time now and l found it quite shocking how much things have changed, there is very little work available, hence the reason l set up my own buisness, really hope this is the right move for my family, my wife is more convinced than l am !!!

Your thoughts on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

As long as you can show them that you can maintain and accommodate them without recourse to any public funds you will be OK.
