Visa Extension

Hello,

I am a canadian who is travelling in thailand one a 60 day visa bought in canada. I would like to extend my stay, however i dont have a onward flight. is it still possible to simply go down to the border of malaysia, exit then re-enter thailand? i heard this would only give me a 15 day visa. is this true?

You can extend for 30 days (and 1900 baht) at the closest immigration office to wherever you are (and can do it on day one or after)

Yes if you do a land border run you will get 15 days. 30 days at the Airport.
