Dog Beaten On Nai Harn Beach Needs A Ride

Help dog lovers,

A very friendly dog who has lived his life on Nai harn Beach has been our family friend each time we visit the beach.

Three months ago he was beaten for 20 minutes by a Thai man on the head with a large board. The man was killing dogs because the tourists were coming and needed the beaches cleared.

Richard (the dogs name) is a short stout dog did survive as a local dog lover called Soi Dog. they fixed his head and he is better but now has sat in Soi dog kennel for 3 months.

We found him another home on a beach but it is located one half hour south of Huahin (on the way to Bangkok).

He needs a ride from Soi Dog (by Phuket Airport) to either Suritani train station or to Hua Hin. He is well behaved and has a cage to hold him during the drive. We have a contact person who will do all the arrangements and costs.

If you can get him to Suritani or all the way to his new beach home he would really appreciate it!

thanks for reading. Send me a personal message if you can help or reply here for any ideas / input.

This short stout dog might have been the one that bit my friend's daughter on the face. Typically friendly, it snapped. We wanted to take a board to it's head too.

Yesterday I was down there and a pack of about five were having a bit of a fight and people were having to clear out of the way.

This has been discussed ad nauseum on the board, but stray,un-owned dogs are a blight. What Soi Dogs needs to keep concentrating on is spaying these dogs.
