I work outside Thailand and my colleagues have asked me if I can get them a Viagra type sexual enhancement drug called 'Camagra'. It is some sort of liquid that comes in a small packet and is taken orally. Does anyone know anything about it? Is it legal? Where would buy it and how much? I am close to Rayong and shop in Pattaya.

it comes in blue tablets (like viagra) and in jelly with different tastes - both are up to 100mg.

they are prescription medicines, but can be bought on the net without a prescription. Be careful from where you are buying, because many of them are just very good fakes.

if you are bringing from abroad take rather tablets than jelly, because they are smaller (takes less space) and rather take them out of the original boxes. Bring only small quantities, for private use.

kamagra is manufactured in india and it's legal there without prescription, you would have the best price there.

most of the kamagria, viagra etc sold in Thailand is made in Burma - extra guilt for sexpats there - pumps life in to their old regime also

Proof please.

"Vega " brand is produced in India and is kosher & is a very tiny part of their overall sales turnover.

There are good reasons for these drugs to require a prescription, they can be dangerous when taken by people with certain health problems (often the very ones that cause the problem leading people to want these drugs!) or by people who are on certain other long term medications. Hence the advisability of seeing a physician.

Kamagra (which by the way is spelt with a K) brand of sildenafil is not licensed for distribution in Thailand. The drug is licensed only under brand names Viagra (an import) and Elonza, a locally made preparation.

I am not certain myself if these are approved for OTC sale or only from a physician, but another poster has said the former and may well be, there are certainly as mentioned good reasons why that would be the case.

Should add that even for drugs approved for OTC sale in Thailand, bringing them into countries wehre they are not, with intent to distribute to others, could land one in very serious legal trouble.

I took this drug as an aphrodisiac for a laugh. Looking back I suppose it was a lark, but I didn't like the headache at all, and had upper body sweats.

I wouldn't recommend it at all, although it certainly did as the advertising says, too much.

I believe it's dodgy too, always a risk of contamination.

Lesson learned for mommysboy.

Camagra, with a C, apparently manufactured by Herbal Camagra Ltd., is being sold as a herbal product and should not be confused with Kamagra, with a K, whose active ingredient is a generic equivalent of that in Viagra and which in Thailand is classified as “specially controlled drug” and as such available only on prescription.

Herbal products for which no medical claims are made can be brought to Thailand for personal use in one’s luggage or sent by mail as food if they are labelled as such.

Educate them. Teach them. Point them in the right direction. Ask them to guess where (and why there?) this billboard was erected:
