For the second time I have been forced to renew my passport as Immigration were sick and tired of trying to find the space for a chop :o

The last time i transferred the visas, I did it at the one stop office of the immigration in Ding daeng, but I understand now it has to be done in Nightmare City.

Can anyone give me an indication of how long its likely to take

The first thing is Thai immigration do not transfer visa's, the only thing they transfer is your permission to stay stamp, and this literally should only take 15 minutes to do, there is a small form to fill in and thats all...

I don’t know what you mean with “Nightmare City”. Google maps has a place called “The Nightmare, Florida 0009”, but this is hardly the place to go for a transfer of stamps from your old passport to the new passport.
