The sign for this place, advertising authentic Ethiopian food, has caught my eye a number of times -- but I haven't had a chance to stop in yet.

Has anyone here tried it?

Do they take off the "United Nations Food Aid" sticker before they serve it

I've always wanted to sit out and smoke from those enormous tobacco pipes and drink tea, but haven't worked up the nerve yet.

You should give them a try. The Ethiopian place is good and there are lots of other good places in the sub-soi. Most places will have a variety of food like north african, middle eastern etc.. They have really good frsh baked breads to go with the food. Just make sure you dont ask for a beer with your food :o

That said! Ethiopian food is great, quite spicy. Try Injera(sp!) , its a huge flatbread with sauces, veggies & meat on top, for you to dip with......

go for the mead (honey based) and the spiced coffee.....
