Bangkok Office Rent Increase

Featured Replies

Hi All

The nice people at Silom Complex just called me to tell me that as my 3 year contract is due, there will be a slight rent increase.

Current rental is 360 Baht per square metre (we have about 254 square metres). They want to put it up to 550 Baht per square metre.

So monthly rental goes from 91K to almost 140K. A bit of an increase. 1.6 million Baht over the 3 years...

Is anyone else in Silom Complex - if so - are you also paying 550 per sq metre ?

If not - what grade building & rental are you paying ? Silom Complex is certainly not grade A for sure. I think this is a bit much.

Cheers

Pedro

That's over 50% increase... Not exactly "slight". :o

Hope your rent doesn't expired in February ... :o

Lease expires November. Latest is they will confirm the price rise in June.

I think they may just be sniffing to guage reactions.

Still - anyone else out there renting office space in Bangkok ?
