girlx
is there an immigration office in chiang mai, and can i extend my tourist visa there? is it still a 14 day extension? thanks
lopburi3
Yes there is an Immigration office in Chiang Mai (next to the airport entry I believe). A 60 day entry tourist visa is extended for 30 days. If you do not have a visa and are on a visa exempt entry of 15 or 30 days (or on the 30 day extension of a tourist visa) you will only get 7 days extension (and you may be required to show airline ticket out within that time). InterestedObserver
Yes there is an Immigration office in Chiang Mai where you can extend your Tourist Visa for 30 days, will cost you 1900 THB. A single-entry Tourist Visa is good for a maximum stay of 90 (60+30) days in Thailand Edited March 26, 2009 by InterestedObserver
