No medical required. Rule went away a few years ago.

But there have been reports of some remote offices still asking for it.

For a non-oa visa at a conulate or embassy it is required.

For renewing the annual extension based on retirement to a Non-Imm O visa, no, you don't need the medical form (and haven't for several years in Pattaya - I can't speak for anywhere else).

Thank you very much for your quick reply as going today for renewal.

When I went for my Non-O first yearly extension based on retirement a couple months ago at Suan Plu I had a health certificate I'd gotten at Cabbages & Condoms for 100 baht.

The immigrations officer processing my paperwork looked at it and gave it back. She also sorted thru the pile of documents I'd brought which I'd read on this forum were 'required', and she took only about 1/3 of those.

I think different officers do things differently, and while a health certificate may not be required it can't hurt to have one. The last thing you want is to be denied and be forced to return to Immigrations because you didn’t spend 100 baht (or less) at a clinic to get a health certificate.

I have found sometimes the document you don't bring is the one they want to see. :D

Good Luck with your extension of stay today. .. :o

Thank you, I received the new retirement Visa no problem WITHOUT medical form at BKK.

However we have some old info on here re forms and down loads as my form was an old one and had to be completed again. No problems though as officer very nice and helpful - even though she did not smile. TIT

Thank you again for all your assistance. :D

BT A happy Man again :D

No medical requirement for me in Feburary 09 or for the past four years that I can recall. I was ill in Dec 08, the wife took care of the 90 day report, with a note from the doctor that I was ill. :o

Could you please advise what the form was and the link you used to download it? Was it Doc or PDF file? Believe most links go direct to Immigration downloads so perhaps they have not updated? Any information you can provide will be useful.

A medical certificate is still required by the Immigration office at Nan apparently.

Hi, Typical!! :o

I have to go to Nan to renew my retirement visa in the next month or so.

Any advice on which form to use, where to get it, how to get it completed to immigrations satisfaction etc, would be appreciated.

Apologies in advance if my replies to answers are slow...my computer has a mind of it's own at the moment, works when it feels like it, despite numerous trips to Phetchabun trying to solve the problem.

Cheers

As said it is not know needed. If they are insisting on one go to any doctor and they will know what to do. Takes about 2 minutes and costs around 50 Baht. Maybe a bit more in some areas.

It was a PDF file, I will try and locate it again and send - It was the TM 7 form.
