My current visa, Non Imm B, is due to expire in a couple of months.

Previously i have applied for my visa back hom ein UK.

This time i hope to get my visa within Thailand.

Is it easier to apply for a marriage visa or Non Imm B as i have a small business here.

What is required for marriage visa? Money in bank, certification, wife etc

Where can i find this information?

Thanks

You don't aplly for a visa in Thailand, you apply for an extension of stay. In your case you can choose between an extension based on being married to a Thai national or based on working in Thailand.

Look here: http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/post-a70477-.html

2.1 business/ employment

2.18 marriage to a thai national

For working you need to show an incoem of 50,000 per month with tax documents. Your business would have to be at least 2 years old, otherwise you will not have the required documents.

Based on marriage you will need to show either an income of 40,000 a month OR 400,000 in a Thai bankaccount in your name for at least 2 months.

Normaly an extension based on marriage cost more time and paperwork.

I think the extension for work requires a lot more papwork. I think if you give immgration everything required it would be about a half inch thick.

See this list of documents required for an extension under 2.1.

For a marriage extension you need marriage certificate and copies of it, wifes ID and house book and your passport photo page and visa, entry permit to stay stamps and TM6 departure card.

Photos of you and the wirfe in and around the house and a map to house.

Your need to go with you for an interview.

True, but I think he will need most of the documents anyway for his work permit.

Extension based on having a Thai Wife.

(6) In case of marriage with a Thai lady, the husband who is an alien must have an average annual income of not less than 40,000 baht per month or a money deposit in a local Thai bank of not less than 400,000 baht for the past 2 months for expenses within a year.
