After reading about these wannabees inthe forum, had to laugh at the Headlines in this mornings Sunday Courier Mail here in OZ, One of these Wannabees has just been awarded the Order of Australia, he is a wellknown fraud and is banned from al RSL,s in Australia, Here in Queensland wannabees who are discovered get treated quite harshly and we are happy to say that at least 75% of people who falsely claim to be veterans of any sort or wear badges or medals they are not entitled too,are procecuted.Inclosing concerning british presence in vietnam, to my knowledge, the british army base at Leong nok tha was used as a supply and stepping off place for UK special forces on their way into vietnam, there was even an SAS officer attached to the base for the 4 years Iwas stationed there, Idont think he was there for the Lao Kao and som tam do you.
