Hi

Have Non Imm O Visa, 1 year multiple entry. I am 60 years old. Can I do the odd day/few hours as and when I feel like it, doing general maintenance at a friends business. There is no payments involved, just some time filling for me..

By the letter of the law the anwer is no. Just about anything you do is considered work whether you get paid for it or not,

It is a risk to do it but what is done out of public view and knowlege is often ok. Since it is a business that raises the risk level a bit higher. Especially if your friend is a farang and on a work permit.
