Folding Bicycles

Featured Replies

For those who are interested, I have found a shop selling folders using Dahon Licence Technology -DLT

The shop is in Suan Siam Road - from Ram Intra Road, turn into Suan Siam Road and the shop is in the last block before Siam Park; about 700 metres from the juction with Ram Intra. From Sei Thai Road - about 1.5kms, go past Siam Park and it's the first block on the right.

The brand is Yeah! and are cheaper than Dahons.Yeah! bicycles

I went to the main page and then on from there. The bikes look okay but I've never ridden a folder and nothing with small wheels since I was a kid. Have you tried one and what was it like? With a decent saddle and clipless pedals would it be an enjoyable experience for an experience rider? I used to time trial and road race when I was younger.

Another question: would it be possible to raise the saddle high enough, or would I need to buy a special seat post? At 8,000 baht I'm interested.

Sorry to keep posting before I get a reply, but has anyone seen anything like this:

I miss riding a fixed wheel (or single-gear freewheel) bike on the roads.

They're selling similar bikes (cheaper, both quality and price) here in Chiang Mai. You should be able to get them in BKK too.
