I find it rather scary that there was almost as much yaba as there was marijuana confiscated. Sounds like a worse epidemic than swine flu!

That is one large heroine, Wagnerian in proportion, unless there are several heroines that total 228.33kg.

BTW that is a reasonable collection of narctics.

Better not stand down-wind of that lot when it goes up :D

Good remark, would you be looked upon as a user, when slowly getting high for free at the Thai governments furnace? :)

Yup - they already did, methinks. Talcum powder is odorless when it burns.

I wonder how many pounds the thai will be able to pinch before they burn the drugs ?

Hey Jack..How come you know ?? :)

A lot of old hippies in California would give body parts to be present - downwind, of course.

I imagine there will be a lot of warm, stoned polar bears also, were we to believe a tenth of big Al's BS.

Perhaps a fitting tribute to Jacko too, as we round up the festivities.

Where exactly is this place?!

Maybe Jackdanielsesq had seen the color photo on page B3 of The Bangkok Post Newspaper June 26th edition. It sure looks like the top box on the hand truck has been opened and a FDA worker is moving the illegal drugs.

looks more like good old kerosene or diesel fuel was used... :)

Also, the haphazard manner in which the stuff was just thrown together and piled around looks more suited for a weiner roast or outdoor picnic...

Today is the UN’s International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. In Surat Thani, thousands of people and government officials marked the occasion yesterday by burning illicit drugs in front of the provincial city hall.

No respectable Thai Police General or High level Government official would let that much $$$ go up in smoke,

Bet ya they left lots of the ganja in for the show and smell and switched out all the expensive stuff. makes me wonder why people in this country even bother...
