Perth / Thailand 60 / 90

i have been to thailand about ten time only doing the 30 day entry last time i visited the country up north and isaan

now i want to go back and stay longer then the 30 - 37 day entry

but i dont know when to leave so i dont really have an exite date how can i get the 60 or 90 day visa with out having exit date is that possible from perth .West Australia. i would also like to stay some time longer then the 60 days just to see if i could live in thailand full time maybe 3 to 6 month.

i can get a airasia one way to kl then to bkk for under $400

A multi entry non immigrant O visa is valid for one year from date of issue and allows unlimited stays of up to 90 days each during that period of time.

A Tourist Visa will give 60 days and can be extended for a further 30 days at Immigration. You could get a double entry if needed. Tourist Visas are now free of charge although not every Consulate will issue a Double for free.

You may even be able to get a Non Imm O Visa from Perth. A single gives 90 days . A Multi Entry gives unlimited entries of up to 90 days each. Valid for a year. These are not free.

Generally you need a return ticket out of Thailand to ensure the airline will carry you there in the first place.

Air Asia tickets are non refundable , but for a fee you can usually change the return date if you decide to leave at a different time.

A return ticket would not cost much more than the one way.

If you have a visa of any type you do not need to show a return ticket to the airline at check in.

Air Asia prices their tickets as 2 one way flights instead of giving a break for a round trip like some airlines do.
