Try these. They do custom tanks and also have very impressive catalogue, I brought a container of them to Ireland and they all sold. It was a few years back so i'm not sure if the phone no. and address are still current. :)

How big is larger than regular ???

You could try these www.pattayaaquatics.com they are on Thepprasit road opposite the night market

I went there today and they have some big tanks..very nice product but think they will be expensive.

EDIT As I was writing Penkoprod beat me to it :)

Another place to look at would be on 3rd road going towards Bali Hai pier, it's on the left before the flyover

and opposite the badmington courts...

sorry can't recall the name of this shop at the moment

its quite large and next door there is a similar sized shop selling plants.

they will make a tank to order for you, if I remember correctly the biggest they have done is 3 meters long

prices for the standard stuff are good ( well I think they have good prices ) obviously for custom made they will charge a bit more.

Be very careful that the glass is way more than adequate for the amount of water inside and also think carefully about where it will be positioned (in the sun light is never a good idea for either fish or tank longevity

A farang I know had one blow a side out on him luckily when it happened his maid was the other side of the tank when the other side blew out big style, some of the glass was embedded in wall 15' away

A mate in the UK had a job in a pet shop specialising in reptiles and he ended up knowing quite a bit about tank design after he had his big lizard take out the glass side of his vivarium tank with his tail when a friends dog wouldn't back off from the tank.Turned out to be very expensive vet bills for both dog and lizard

owners

A big blow out with pieces of large thick glass going everywhere is not to be recommended

Anything over 1.5 metres long x 750 high should be 18mm min personally I would have a minimum of 25mm thick laminated glass with a 50mm x 50mm x 5mm stainless steel frame which I would personally check for the any and I mean any imperfections on the inside of frame surfaces where the glass would touch as any welding splatter or even uneven grinding marks could cause the glass to fail with the slightest knock and with that weight of water the glass will fly apart

but then I am known for over engineering things and touch wood (hitting both head and computer desk at same time to make sure)haven't had anything come back to haunt me

Just a cautionary bit of advice especially if you had kids who like looking at the fish and sometimes knocking on the tank to get said fishes attention

here's a link but I think the glass thicknesses here are woefully inadequate as you have also to take the quality of "Thai" glass into account plus you have to factor in the temperature variances between tank in sun all day then farang comes home wacks the aircon on full blast and the tanks sitting under the aircon duct
