Info Needed On Chiangmai

Featured Replies

Hello

I wonder if anybody could enlighten me to regards current media in Chiangmai.

I would like to know about publications such as newspapers and magazines and what language they are printed in.

Also cable TV, who is the provider and what local content (if any) is there.

I appreciate all responses, sorry for asking but I am sure you all know how hard it is to find info on the web.

Kind regards

Dawson

Both "The Nation" and the "Bangkok Post" are widely available. There is also the rag Chiang Mai News. The foregoing are all in English.

Many bookshops have a wide range of magazines in English, Thai, German, Dutch etc.

UBC provide both sat and cable TV and there are many Thai channels from news to the locals soaps (which are considered "must see" by most local women.
