Selenium

Was advised in UK to take a selenium supplement, as Europe's soils are pretty depleted of tis vital trace-element.

Does anyone know how things stand in LOS?

funny u should ask; the reason i checked this thread is that selenium is a major problem among goats and sheep and in the us, soils are tested for it and if defficient, then the kids and lambs are given selenium shots... but every area in the states (or in israel where i raised the goats and sheep) has its own amounts, so u have to contact the local agri extension services to find out about the soil in your area... then u could interpolate from there.
