Firstly, I'll start with an assumption... It is just you and your Daughter travelling (without mother). 1) The Passport question, if it even is a question, its is a no brainer: - Show the Aus Passport on Check-in at the Airline as they'll want to know visa status (no need for a visa obviously). - Exit Thailand on the Thai passport (and get an exit stamp) - Enter Aus on Aus Passport (this is a called an Air-swap and very common). On to what I suspect the actual question of the Op is - 2) Documentation to prove you have parental permission to travel out of Thailand with your daughter (without the mother). - Officially, you will need an Affirmation of Parental Consent, a letter signed by and official from your local Amphur office - Realistically, the letter on its own 'should' be fine, signed by your Wife (with a singed copy of wife's passport). - Have your wife standing by ready to receive a call from immigration just in case. -------- Examples: - I have travelled out of the country twice with my Son (without my Wife / his mum), I had a consent letter just incase, I was not asked for it (my son was 3 on one occasion, 4 on another). - I have friends who were travelling with their child and immigration questioned them, they had no consent letter but a quick call to the mother sorted things out. - I do not know of anyone rejected (but that does not mean its not a possibility - so if you want to be sure, get the parental consent letter signed). -

Thailand Visa Exemption (60 days) and Visa On Arrival (VOA) (15 days)
The rule says "10,000 baht per person or 20,000 baht per family", so in your example the adult should be able to show 20,000 baht in cash. You never have that, many people don't have that either, but IF they ask and you don't have it, you won't get in. It would be extremely reckless to risk a denial of entry when traveling with two children.
