Chaweng Hotels

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I have done the searches for hotels in Chaweng, on this and other sites and have ended up confused.

I have found in the past that personal recomendations from forum members is 99% of the time good info....in fact all of the hotels I hv styayed at thru out Thailand have been from members reco's...so.....

I am going to Samui for the 1st time on 10th September , although I have been to Thailand many times. I will stay for 5 nights...

I am after a hotel under 1000, CLEAN, cable tv, ensuite, double bed, not toooooo noisy, near to beach and nightlife...I am a fit 55 yr old and not afraid to walk.

I have seen a few places online , but not knowing the lay of the land, makes it difficult to reach a decision..so would prefer to take YOUR advise...

Thanks in advance

Akwa guest house fits the bill as does P.Chaweng guest house, both South Chaweng and close to the beach. try google for more info on them.

Regards Bojo

Hi mate,

I was there for the Sawadee.com Samui Regatta in early June, and stayed at a newish place called My Q Express, opposite the Centara Grand. Payed 750 per night. Had all the mod-cons including minibar, wifi, etc. only 4 floors high but had a lift. Clean, big bed, and room safe.

I will definately stay there again.

There's my 2 cents worth, or my 1 baht worth.

Regards, and enjoy Samui
