Do you require a degree or a diploma to teach in Thailand?

A degree and a diploma are 2 entirely different qualifications from where I come from.

Websites are very unclear. They talk about needing a "degree" and people handing over fake "diploma's" in the same sentence.

So which is it?

You need neither in most provinces. When and where they require it, they mean a bachelor's degree from a university.
