Wrong, they are mainly a " mixed " race. Still nobody, until today, know'

s the origin of the Thai people. I'm looking for the article I found, but it says clearly, Cambodian people ruled what's now Thailand ( Siamese ).

Some tekst from " ThaiPro":

The origin of the Thai people is rather vague, but scholars believe migrations occurred from the Chinese province of Szechwan around the 1st century AD. However, recent discoveries suggest that a sophisticated Thai culture existed in Thailand that predates the Chinese. Migrations of the Mon from Burma and the Khmer from Cambodia contributed to the original ethnic mixture that today is called "The Thai people".

Sprouting crap much ? Thais are from Southern China, or what you called Zhejiang and Shanghai now before we migrate down to Yunnan area and further down. The first country of the Thais were called "Yue State" where Xishi(the most beautiful woman from China came from) My Zhuang friends from China speak central Thai dialect.

Cambodia has received a letter of apology from the commander of a Thai airbase apologizing for a series of Thai air force flights that crossed into Cambodian territory in the past week, local media reported.

"We accepted the letter of apology by the Thai military but we have warned Thailand's airbase that we will not take responsibility for a second repeated airspace violation," General Bun Seng said .

Hmmm, would be interesting to know if the unnamed commander of the Thai airbase is one of the many Thaksin friendly commanders? Could this be a dry-run in advance of the certain red shit-storm to come next week?

Memories of the 'happy' Songkran square-faced incited red-riot 1. Mr Thaksin's wannabe golf, casino and gas buddy Hun Sen's troops suddenly opened fire first, drawing a large Thai Army contingent far from reach of Bkk. Luckily they made it back and just in time as flaming busses were careening down streets and poor people were being attacked by reds in Bkk's slums. Let's hope a repeat isn't in the works... (well, most people would hope not at least, yet some would relish it).

There excuse sounds dodgy to me, unless they were flying a hot-air balloon.

any jet fighter doesnt go around a typhoon but straight through them and do often when gathering weather data. They are indestructible and certainly may have used this weather as poor excuse and surprised that Cambodians excepted it
