Hello,

I have got a question regarding the Visa on arrival. I first arrived in Thailand in February this year with a triple entry tourist visa which i got from the embassy in Germany. After 6 month when the visa was finished, i got an extension for 30 days. The 30 days run out in 10 days. My questions is now if i can just leave the country and go over the boarder to Cambodia, and re enter Thailand with a visa on arrival for 15 days. I don't really know if that is possible. So in case it is not possible(because i don't think it is), could i get another tourist Visa at an embassy in Cambodia or different country, or would i have to wait a certain time to be able to get another visa?

i hope somebody can give some advice,

Thanks

It is not a visa on arrival, but a visa exempt entry. Yes, you can do that without any problem.

Alternatively you can go to Vientianne and get a double entry tourist visa there, they are free for the moment. There is no need to stay out of Thailand for a certain time.

Your Triple Entry should have given you 9 months with extensions.

As Mario said you can hop over the border for a 15 day stay but better to get the Double Entry Tourist Visa from Vientienne. This would give you almost 6 months with extensions and a border run in the middle.
