The other day I set up a free UK iTunes account on one PC (I have the Thai iTunes account on a different PC) so that I could download the Shazam application. That worked great.

Then today I decided to buy a Thai translation application from the Thai store. After purchasing it the app didn't sync to my phone. I decided to sync applications to see if that would work but it noticed the Shazam app shouldn't be on the phone and deleted it (bloody iTunes).

I went back to the other PC, removed Shazam from the application list and re-download it again, hoping it would then sync back to my phone. It didn't.

This iTunes method of syncing application is ridiculous. Does anyone know of a work around so that I can get the UK app back onto my Thai phone?

The “Disable automatic synching for iPhones and iPods” is unchecked.

I hope that made sense.

Thanks

Mick

Weird. Just tried another sync all applications on the UK store PC and it worked without removing all Thai applications. <scratching head>

MicK,

I have multiple itunes accounts for much the same reason as you.

I do not seem to run into the same problem and I thinK it might be because your PC is not authorized for both accounts.

Anyway I am getting apps from both my US account and my Thai account to go on my iphone no problem.

BTW my US account is essentially made up as I live in Thailand and only have Thai credit cards. I can buy Apps from the US account because I can buy Itunes vouchers via paypal to pay for them with my Thai credit card. I assume the same would be the case with the UK.

Yea, Abrak. The reason I got into difficulties was that the Thai app that I bought wouldn't download to the iPhone. When I tried syncing the Thai PC removed the UK apps...being a dumb arse I tried to add the UK apps from the UK PC and it removed all the Thai apps!!! Lucky enough I had backed everything up. Yes, I had authorized the UK PC but originally to the Thai store. Going to look into that now.
