September 15, 200916 yr We watched the Guns of Navarone on UBC tonight, for the umpteenth time - still a classic movie however. Strangely though, towards the end of the movie, Gregory Peck looks at his wrist watch and says, "it's ten o'clock ...." and the camera moves to show his wrist watch which reads 10pm. At that precise moment my better half picked up the remote and displayed the TV schedule of program's on the the TV and guess what, it was exactly 10pm. Did anyone else notice this obscure phenomena? I can only guess that someone, somewhere deep in the bowels of UBC is playing obscure timing games and I cannot begin to imagine what other coincidences he/she might have set up in order to satisfy his/her sense of peculiar sense of humor. Fascinating, non?
September 15, 200916 yr I haven`t heard such a story of supernatural phenomenon since my underpants disappeared in the washing machine last week.
