I'm not sure what I need. I don't think I need a doctor, but I think I need more than a foot massage place.

I have very hard buildups on my heels...even more than I did in the States...I think because I am walking more and we have hardwood floors in the condo instead of carpeting.

What do I need in terms of someone to do "something" for my feet?

Sorry you have this problem, had the same myself.Go to ladies beauty supply and buy pumice stone and quality lotion.

Twice a week soak feet in hot water(hot as you can take)for about 15-20 minutes and scrub calloused areas with stone.Dry and apply lotion.May take 2-3 months depending on how bad it is.Trust me this works and your wife or gf will thankyou when you run your soft feet along her legs.Good luck,Don :)

Best to wear slip on slippers, always get mine at Big C as they have XL size and cost just 69 baht, have lots so wash them every 2 or 3 days..... Buy Foot Cream, I always applied in bed so had all night to soak in, still took about 6 weeks before soft again, since wearing slippers around the house the feet are fine for the past 4 years..

Heard that "Dubbin" leather/shoe polish is the best for really hard, cracked heels.

Probably best to use the clear one...

Yeah, I agree with the lotion at night thing. I sometimes do the same thing. What I do is lather up with a thick layer of lotion, then put on cotton socks and sleep with them on all night. It keeps the lotion from rubbing off when you walk or roll around in bed. It always worked for me...wake up with softer feet already! Just have to keep doing it periodically, with using a pumice periodically too.

My wife suffered with thick hard skin , mostly on her heels , i watched her even cut some off with a razor , I brought her back a special hand held 'Foot file ' from Canada , now two month later her feet are fine , I also brought back woolen slippers that she wears on the tiled floor .
