My kids school will soon start practising for thier pre- xmas function wherein my son will play the role of the shepard and my neighbours daughter will be mother mary.where do i get the right costumes for them ? any suggestions ? any shop where i can rent them ?

nisha, someone posted a fancy dress shop link in the Ladies forum. Maybe they will have what you need.

But, to be honest, a Mary and Shepard costume isnt too hard to make. Mary only really needs a long white nightdress and blue shawl/scarf for the head. The Shepard can wear similar but in brown colours, no need to add a staff because thats what sets Joseph apart. You can play around a bit, but with those basics you should be fine.
