Ladyboy steals phone and hides in Woodlands

The police checked around found the ladyboy hiding and retrieved the phone he/she had concealed on his/her person

At thirty minutes after midnight on March 29, Police Lieutenant Colonel Awmsin Sukkanka, inquiry inspector at Soi 9 Stationhouse, responded to a call from Latsamee Jampaagel, 28, who complained that her phone had been pinched by a ladyboy.

The story that unfolded was that she had gone out that evening to the Night 2 Bar on Pattaya-Naklua Road. Sitting on the table was a katoey. They didn't speak, but at one point when she reached into her bag to get her phone to make a call and discovered it had gone. She immediately suspected the katoey and accused him/her of taking it. She tried to check the boy/girl but he/she quickly fled from the bar.

Latsamee gave chase but lost sight of the thief in woodlands. The police checked around and managed to find the ladyboy hiding and retrieved the phone he/she had concealed on his/her person. Salawut Krabpoe, 20, was taken in, booked and locked up.
