Actually, the Thai lyrics say the 'largest weekend market' (with an English backing just saying 'largest market') and I've found that on a few websites too. According to the Guiness records website, the honour of largest open air market goes to the San Jose flea market: 120 acres, over 6000 stallholders. For Jatujak it would seem to be around 35 acres, 15,000 stalls. So, how to define 'the largest market in the world' and is it JJ?

It was a while since I was there, but I would contest that Merkato in Addis Abeba is larger than Jatujak, at any rate. Never been to San Jose.
