I'm not sure if anyone read about this incident, but it really is pretty sad when incidents like these happen at grass roots level. Having followed football n this area for most of my life, this wa pretty disgusting. There has been over the last few years a simmering hatred between Newquay and St Austell, which I for one have little understanding of why, as it was ever the case when I used to go and watch St Austell a number of years back. Anyway as it is, the players involved have now been suspended Sine Die, WHICH IS QUITE RIGHT. Anyway click on the link for the report and pictures.

It's not just the league clubs that have crowd problems. :)

They must have run out of pasties then?

:) Yeah, the pasties used to be very good at St Austell a few years back.

Them Clotted Cream and Scones hurt you know. Although with some of them bellies, it looks like those fans had eaten them all, I think there was one left and they threw it at the player.

:) outrageous..

Always knew them lot down there couldn't be trusted ever since i went on a Karate Holiday down there as a little Boy... :D

Only joking Toady.. :D

Serious Bans to be dished out there me thinks..

Yes mate, looks like they are getting Sin Die bans - the CFA I reckon will hit them hard, and Whetter has past form from last season. Pretty disgraceful really, but a couple of the Newquay fans look like they are also going to banned from grounds as well.

To be fair Toady i don't reckon anyone could moan of the Old Bill got involved either to be honest not just the Cornish FA or whatever they're called.

Yeah, I think the plod are involved. As for the Cornish FA, they generally are pretty tough on players - so they should serving long bans. Whetter has made apologies, but it really probably wont wash. It's all been a bit of a shambles at St Austell in the last month or so with various politics and stuff going on at the club, so this was probably the last thing they needed.

I'm more upset that the moronic Newquay fans had a Union Jack flag at the back of the stand -bloody disgusting should be the Flag of St Piran. :)
