If you drive north up to the E-W Klong Luang Road, then east to immediately before the Eastern Ring Road, Hwy 9, turn left, north, on the side road. Go up it 2-3-km until you see the large container depot inside.

The DMV building is the first large building inside, should be lots of cars and motorcycles parked there.

Yellow book is quite fine with them for address verification, no need for the "Embassy" or Immigration letter.

Don't remember what's required for the 5-year license, used to be that you needed the one year license for some period, forget what it is, or what the rules are now. Ask.

No need to take a photo, they do it with a digital camera now. Do take a book or magazine, tho, as you might have to sit through a one hour VDO, in Thai.

Might need a Thai speaker, too, to help fill out the form.
