Paying For Air

Featured Replies

is it just in patong? the only thing coming out of the water mains is air, and this air is spinning the water meter around and the water company are charging for air the water comes out of the mains for about an hour some nights. has anyone have or had this proplem?

Yes they are having problems. There was a thread or a report somewhere on here, can't find it now. I don't recall the cause. GF who runs a hotel has had to start ordering the water trucks. With all the uncontrolled construction/new hotels plus now high season arriving, my guess is there is permanently too much demand for supply due to poor planning. Saw another poster here use the term "Organic growth vs. planned growth."

Remember the days when you only saw water trucks from March to May?

Now they are on the roads year round.

But Thailands cheap.. Why yoo falang sa-peak too mutt. :)

Why don't they trap that water that constantly torrents down the hill to Simon Caberet, past those horrid condominiums.

It's a endless supply.
